Open code client that can connect to any P2P network.

FilePipe can be considered as the first P2P file exchange client. That is to say, it isn`t based on any particular network, but can connect to any P2P network that exists: Ares, FastTrack, Gnutella, OpenFT, etc. Also, it is open code, which means that it is free to be used and modified how you like.

Another of the best FilePipe characteristics is that you can do .torrent file searches (those that BitTorrent clients use). Other options are the normal ones in a P2P client: restricted searches, search filters, upload and download traffic limits, port selection (personalizable for each network), connections, integrated multimedia player to preview downloaded files, etc
